"For twelve years, Sebastien Boncy has been intently building Purple Time Space Swamp, a visual archive of the city of Houston. PTSS is an attempt at an exhaustive real time description of a specific bit of geography. Parts of the archive have been presented as exhibitions (e.g. Time after Time at the Galveston Art Center) and zines (e.g. 4 volumes of PTSS magazine). 

Htown Loops & Lines is the first book project from the archive, designed to serve as a greater introduction and primer to Purple Time Space Swamp. Flatness, grime, water, sunshine, Jesus, weeds, grackles. How much Houston can you fit in a hundred pages? Purple Time Space Swamp is public domain and all images, including all images and design elements of Htown Loops & Lines are free of copyright. "
